We had no time to get something down...

And let me say, I probably could speak for the group on this, though admittedly it is only my sentiment here. We are somewhat frustrated about the progress of getting studio time together with our schedule being as it is... However we tried very hard to get something down before Casa de Fruita, and just couldn't do it...

The group has the desire to put something together that is really high quality... We coult slap a few mp3s of a session together and put them out, but we felt it sells our work short, and we want to do it right...

We tried a high quality live recording session at the Poet Tree, but we quickly learned that we need to work in a studio of some kind...

Our current thought is to go into a recording session after Casa de Fruita... End of October-November... Provided none of us spontaniously combusts between now and then.

However our focus right now is to get the shows at Casa de Fruita up and running...

We gotta lay some tracks down soon, I'm bummer we won't have any CDs to sell at Casa but as Will indicated there just wasn't time once the circuit really got going.

If we don't record something soon Bob Brinkman's gonna fly out from Florida and have us bound, gagged and shot.
